Summertime Madness springs to my mind as we prepare for the holidays at home. Unable to see family, travel and explore over the months ahead it is good to remember what the basics of a vacation are to you  - For me it means wearing no shoes and being barefoot the entire holiday except when dining in a restaurant (and even then not always).

A vacation is when laziness finds acceptability - for example having a long lunch with friends that ends at dusk. It is day after day of having nothing to do and all day to do it in. You may think this is what you have just experienced for the past few months but we have all been juggling a lot - home learning, work (working twice as hard) , struggling to comprehend the massive impact of the virus and there has been no separation between home & work life. 

Its the simple things like having sand between your toes and quality time with friends & family that will make this summer special.
